Great building in quiet area

41 River Terrace is a great property - what you see is what you get - everything always works, the unites/property is well cared for, and the view/rooftop deck is amazing if you live on the right floor. Like many properties in NYC, it's not cheap, but it is certainly more affordable than similar options in other neighborhoods. From a social standpoint, it can be a bit isolated given that it's both downtown and West of the highway. That said, the Chambers stop makes commuting to work fairly painless if you are along the 1,2,3, Zucker's Bagels is amazing, and the Whole Foods nearby is great. Being so close to an amazing park in NYC is really a unique experience, though the social scene of the area really dies out around 7 or 8pm. Overall, if you love being near parks, value a good pet/family scene, and nearby necessities, the property is great; if you want something a bit more social in the heart of NYC or are more price-constrained, it may not be the best.
