Active Community Mixing Urban and Suburban Lifestyles
Downtown Boulder is the place to be when looking for a mix of urban and suburban living. Nestled against the picturesque backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, this area offers a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and a thriving urban atmosphere.

Most residents, no matter their age, are highly active and take advantage of their serene surroundings by taking up skiing, snowboarding, hiking, climbing, and biking. Dozens of trails are nestled in the Rocky Mountains just west of downtown. For indoor fitness in the area, ONE Boulder Fitness is centrally located in Downtown, and students at the University of Boulder have the advantage of a 5-minute drive or 15-minute commute to use the university’s facilities.

Downtown hosts most of western Boulder’s shopping and restaurants with name-brand stores such as The North Face, Free People, Patagonia, and local brands that help support the local economy. There is no shortage of quaint coffee shops and after-work pubs between Spruce and Walnut. Also, Boulder Farmers Market is centrally located on Boulder Canyon Dr and loaded with healthy, locally sourced produce, art pieces, and meals every Saturday from April through November.

Boulder is notably one of the best areas to live a healthy lifestyle and raise a family in the country, and Downtown is the perfect neighborhood for those who are looking to be involved in the community and stay active in a high-speed environment, compared to its calmer suburbs.

Downtown — 10/10 Rating (based on 1 neighborhood reviews)
One block off pearl street so there are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The crowd is a little older than the hill so not too many loud late parties in the area. Walking distance to boulder bus station and post office and about a mile from the grocery stores.
