Cherry is a small residential area near the city of Charlotte with plenty of destinations to visit in town. Cherry is famous for being one of the oldest African-American residential areas that still exist to this day in Charlotte. In the heart of Cherry is Cherry Park. Here, many of the residents of Cherry like to visit and socialize with their friends. Another beautiful park nearby is Midtown Park, which many residents also like to visit. If you ever need to go shopping, there is a Trader Joe’s, Best Buy, and Metropolitan all next to each other downtown.
