Highland

Historic but With the Times
The town of Highland is an old American town that was founded all the way back in 1858. The founder of Highland, William Larimer, Jr, was also the founder of Denver City funnily enough. Even though old homes still stand in Highland, the neighborhood is known to keep up with the times with its trendy shops, bars, and restaurants throughout its streets. Another popular hotspot in town is Elitch Gardens, an amusement park with fantastic shows, dining options, and rides. Just outside of town is the Downtown Aquarium, home to around 500 different species of marine life.

Highland is a great spot to live in, as the surrounding eateries in town are a must-have for residents. With plenty of options, Highland has a great dining scene with many recommendations for different restaurants and bars. Restaurants in the area include Denver Poke Company, Prosperoats, Quiero Arepas, Ale House, and Linger. Bars for drinks with friends include Postino LoHi, Williams & Graham, Howl at the Moon Denver, Terminal Bar, and The Cruise Room. Highland proves itself as a buzzing environment that attracts many people with its various hotspots and destinations.
