Good apartment in growing neighborhood
Excellent maintenance team, office staff is okay. Easy access to Grady and Midtown (5-10 min drive), as well as fairly close to Emory main campus (~15 minutes), although that is subject to daily traffic. Airport is also only a short ride away. We really like our apartment layout and features.
Camden Living
The best part of living in Camden Asbury is the three bed, two bath option because a three-way roommate rent split is quite affordable (by Raleigh standards). The apartments are newer and have modern fixtures. Management is kind and responsive. The complex offers a large and upscale pool (couple dozen lounging chairs) and a small yet serviceable fitness center (two benches, three treadmills, full dumbbell rack).
The location is safe and clean with easy access to I-40. It's fifteen minutes to town and three minutes from the PNC Arena—NC State football and the State Fair cause severe congestion and detours.
Clean and well managed
Everything about the building is great—neighbors and front desk staff are friendly, everything is clean, and maintenance responds quickly. Only downside is that there is not a nearby grocery store, though proximity to the metro and White House/National Mall make up for that a bit
I love my apartment
I have a 800sq ft apartment and I love it. I have lived here for two years. It's in a really convenient location with walking distance to the Farmers Market, restaurants and attractions in Deep Ellum, 10 min commute to SMU, 3 min commute to Downtown and a lot of access points to multiple freeways/highways. There's also a DART bus and train pickup less than 10 mins walking distance as well.
The location is great, the apartment is fine; the rent is pricey
The best part of living here is the location. It's easy to walk to Ponce City Market or down the beltline to either Krog or Piedmont Park/Trader Joe's. If you're on an upper floor you can get excellent views of the park, ponce city market, or both.
While I have an overall positive feeling about Camden O4W, I feel like the rent is too high for a couple of reasons. Almost all of the surrounding apartment communities have similar rents but are newer. There is also more carpet here than other buildings (like AMLI Old Fourth Ward across the street that has been replacing the carpeted living rooms with vinyl plank flooring).
Management is generally responsive, but I have experienced delays in having non-essential repairs performed. I have also lived here long enough to see that repeated problems (namely malfunctioning garage gates) are not addressed in a way that actually prevent the same problem in the future.
I've always felt safe in my apartment, but there have been break-ins on ground floor units through their patio doors. In the fall of 2020, there were multiple cars parked along the street between the buildings (not in the garage) with smashed windows. I personally saw five cars with broken windows and was surprised when an email from the leasing office said that only two cars were broken into.
Review
It’s been great! This apartment complex is 2 minutes from rice village, and has everything I need. All gates are phone controlled! Really convenient, and cause it’s in such a nice area no problems coming in late! Definitely recommended
Good for Grad School
I'm in one of the apartments directly off one of three parking garages; I highly recommend this because everything else is outdoor parking. It's a nice large complex with a beautiful lake in the middle to take calming walks. Water and sewage gets added on the base rent at the end of the month. I have used the alcove for what would have been my dining room as my office. It's a one bedroom that's good for going through grad school, but I am ready to have a couple more bedrooms when I leave and start my job. It's small enough to easily take care of when living alone. There is a decently large immigrant population in the complex, especially from the Middle East and India, which is cool. My apartment is 10 minutes from Rice. The complex was first built in the 90's, but they have upgraded elements of the apartments over time.

Quiet & Convenient Location
7/10
Nice interior and relatively inexpensive. management is good but issues with package theft. However, issues with package theft and security have not been resolved because corporate won't provide support to management.

Close to Levy Park!

Good community. Quiet. Nice neighborhood close to a school. Problem is that you have to drive or take the bus to campus.
Great Staff, Clean, & Quiet
Staff is super friendly & quick to respond, common spaces are clean & everything is quiet and well insulated!
Great building… not so great location
The building and staff at Camden Grand Parc are great! Maintenance is super quick and to no cost to you, front desk staff are friendly, the building is clean and apartments are very modern plus there’s free to-go breakfast on weekdays. However, the park across the road is full of homeless people. They are generally not an issue and keep to themselves but there’s a lot of panhandling and sometimes the crazy person or someone trying to scam you.
Great Apartment
I have lived in Camden Grand Parc for over a year and love it. It is a very convenient location right across the street from the McPherson metro station and only a 15 minute walk from the law school campus. Maintenance and the administration are very responsive. There is a 24-hour person at the front desk and also continental breakfast on the weekdays.
