Camden Interlocken Review
Good Spot Farther from CU
Camden Interlocken
Pros: No issues with property management so far, thick walls so you cannot hear neighbors, walkable area, nice pool / grill/ hot sauna, great medium-sized apartment gym, attached garage for some units, 15ish minutes to campus, closer to Denver which is nice for events
Cons: More expensive than I was hoping for, small airport nearby so you do hear planes quite a bit (bugged me at first but don't really notice), a few minor new build defects (indentation on floor, some shoddy countertops), some maintenance issues, valet trash you have to pay for
Camden Vanderbilt Review
Overall secure and clean apartment complex
Camden Noma
Pretty nice. Was one of the cheaper ones I found in NoMa. Two pools and two gyms. Grills on roof and feels pretty clean.
Camden Overlook Review
NO headaches
Extremely Disappointed – Declining Quality and No Accountability
Extremely Disappointed – Declining Quality and No Accountability
I’ve lived at Camden Midtown in Atlanta for some time, and what was once a well-maintained and secure building has gone drastically downhill over the past few months.
As of today (June 13), my air conditioning has been out since Sunday, June 9th, with no remedies offered by management. Maintenance didn’t even determine the unit was unrepairable until Tuesday, June 11th. Since then, I’ve left messages every day and sent two emails to management—both ignored. Still no resolution or even basic communication.
Beyond the AC issue, the building itself is becoming neglected:
No night security anymore – a major concern for safety.
Hallways are dirty and unkept.
The elevator was out for an extended period, and I personally lost hundreds of dollars in missed opportunities because I couldn’t even get down to the first floor.
It’s incredibly frustrating to pay premium rent and be treated with such disregard. If you’re considering moving here, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere until management addresses these ongoing issues. This is not the same Camden Midtown it used to be.
Apartment North of Campus
The apartments are spacious and provide a lot of amenities. Great sunlight and options for balconies. It has its own off leash dog park, pool, gym, and study space. The complex is close to campus and near bus route to go to school. Moreove, it is relatively near a grocery store. The majority of the utilities such as Electricity, Water, Cable/Internet are not included in the base rent- this includes parking.
A decent place, but management is leading the demise
We lived here during 1Y and renewed our lease since the property is great for our dog. However, we have observed issues with management not upholding their responsibilities to better the community. It has at times been a roller coaster.
We enjoy living here and look forward to improved progress, returning to where things had been.
Good value
Pros:
- Relatively low rent
- Nice units, large square footage
- Neighbors are quiet
- Reasonable commute: 15 min by car and 25 min by bus
- Parking garage with controlled access. Free to park unless you want a reserved spot but there is plenty of parking so no need to.
Cons:
- Fringe neighborhood: safe to walk around during the day. I personally wouldn't walk along N Lamar at night.
- Package theft is somewhat common. They recently built a package room which should reduce thefts. I would ship expensive items to a nearby Amazon locker.
Management Team is Subpar
The building and its units are great, but I am rather upset by the pool and outdoor areas being unavailable despite them telling me it'd be done by the end of the year. Also, if you are unable to operate with construction around you, it'd be difficult to live here.
Great Property, Not so Great People
Absolutely love this apartment, the amenities are wonderful, maintenance responds within two hours, and it is so nice to have an attached parking garage with ample parking for guests. However, some people who live there are absolute slobs and leave trash in stairwells, park outside of the lines, and do not pick up after their pets. I know this is not the apartment's fault, but just goes to show how people can ruin nice things by not taking care of them. Luckily, our neighbors are pretty quiet.
Average
The apartment itself is good. It’s relatively new, it was clean when I moved in, and management fixes things quickly if they break or need maintenance. The drawbacks are the constant noise (mostly from the garbage room directly below my apartment, but also construction, pedestrians, etc.). Additionally the windows are never cleaned and the screens do not cover the entire window so unless I want flys I basically cannot open my windows unless it’s cold.
Camden Crest Review
Management is Awful
Nice
I like it a lot. It is close to everything we need, but i wish they had a security car that patrolled like my last apartment.
Older Apartments but nice quiet area
The apartment complex doesn't usually ask for a deposit, and the application process is easy. The maintenance department works on requests quickly and gets things fixed in a timely manner. At the moment they are doing a lot of renovations for the older apartments.
