Club Meridian

Our apartment is well maintained and spacious. I think our rent is very reasonable, especially for the amount of space and overall condition. Very safe area. There are a lot of families and children, who can get a little loud but it doesn’t bother me or my roommate. Highly recommend living here!

Club Meridian is good for someone who wants to be in a safe community, away from other college students. There are many families there and tons of kids. Utilities will be another 150-200/month after rent.

I like it here. Planning on staying at least another year

I really like my apartment. It’s close to school, great management and nice units. I have a 3rd floor unit so I have a fireplace and vaulted ceilings which is nice. It’s the perfect amount of space

Good overall

They do a good job managing the facility as a whole. The gym is pretty small and does t have a lot of options, so I have a separate gym membership. But the apartment is close to Kroger and Target. They shovel the snow and take our trash. Maintenance is also quick. They sometimes have events that are decent.

DO NOT MOVE HERE

1 management rating Reviewed by on

This place is absolutely terrible. The facility is disgusting, the bathroom leaked water and had mold. The management is unprofessional. On more than one occasion, mail was stolen AND reported with zero recourse as a tenant. The lady at the front desk gave us bad information that created complete chaos with our mail situation, and when confronted in front of her manager, she flat-out denied the conversation ever happened. Management could have cared less. Unfortunately it was a very expensive ipad needed for class.

We gave notice in May for a July 1st move-out and were told our balance was zero. Then in September, months later, we were billed again for a lease that had already been terminated. To this day, no proper itemization has ever been provided.

Management clearly have no regard for tenants or basic professionalism.

Overall great experience

It's a really nice apartment if you aren't looking for flashy amenities that add a lot in the monthly rent. The apartments are clean, they seem relatively private.

The noise between apartments can get loud, but you get that anywhere depending on how heavy people's feet are.

Safe Neighborhood

My experience at Club Meridian has been great so far. The management has been responsive. They fixed our issues within a 24-hour notice which was much appreciated upon move in. -1 point for no elevator. I live on the 3rd floor and had to carry all my furniture up myself. There is lots of uncovered parking so great for guests. There is also a walk/run path on the apartment that is beautiful.

I do not recommend

They do not clean the halls or the outside of the buildings.
The doorknob to my unit completely came off. I also had a classmate who had all of her doorknobs come off.
Despite pest control coming by every other week, roaches travel the hallways and in between units through the drains.

Location is perfect!

City Place is located in a great area of Gainesville! You have a movie theater, Dave & Busters, shopping, and restaurants within walking distance of the property. The local Walmart, Target, Publix, and more is a short 5-7 minute drive from the property. The apartments are completely updated as the property was built in 2021 with secured doors that you can unlock with an app on your phone. The amenities are useful, clean, and updated.
The only downside to City Place is the constant noise of construction and traffic during the day. If you are used to normal city noise it should not be a problem but its definitely not a quiet area during the day.

not sure what this means

Do not rent here there are so many unhappy renters here.
Our ice maker has never worked except once in a while it will put out a few cubes. The manager is not helpful at all. the appliances are very cheap.
We have ask for outside repairmen but to no avail. the maintenance person Greg has tried and he is a very nice man tries hard to make the property nice. The manager is so rude and seems to just not care if you have issues with your apartment. The apartment is built very cheap and people that are moving out say they are leaving because it is a dump.very disappointed. We are moving as soon as our house is built The maintenance crew and Victoria in the office could not be better. They are great. They need to take the luxury sign down. I have talked to probably 20 residents and they feel the same. Just need a caring Manager

Bare Minimum

This apartment is only a couple years old and yet it's not in good condition. Since it was built, there's been constant construction in Celebration Pointe which is extremely annoying. The maintenance is good, but that's about it. The hallways are dirty, we have bugs, no service at all on the weekends, mostly rambunctious college kids living here, high price for a tiny apartment, raising prices, constant problems with the building, etc. We only stayed for a year and many people are leaving, most rooms are empty now. Management can be rude or dismissive. Would highly not recommend. You can live in better areas at cheaper prices in Gainesville, FL.

Law Student Living at Auburn Hills

6 management rating Reviewed by on

This is a nice place to live but lacking in a few areas. This complex is very pet friendly which is a huge plus. It has a nice little dog park. The pool and clubhouse are being redone so they should be really nice next year. The management team is pretty helpful. I have had quite a few maintenance issues, but the team always comes the next day to fix them. I would definitely recommend getting a renovated apartment because they are much nicer for not too steep of an increase on rent. Overall, the complex isn't five stars, but it is a nice starter apartment for a student new to Topeka (that is not looking to spend a fortune).
