super great. pool is open year round. free pilates classes on wednesday nights. there are 4 ways to get to Rush: the 7, 157, commuter shuttle, and blue line. massive porch with sunset facing view. massive: able to fit a corner couch and a 3 seater. massive kitchen counter. can rarely hear my neighbors. but very expensive. Also if you get instacart delivery they will bring it directly to your door, in larger buildings you often have to come down to get your groceries.

Great apartment

9 management rating Reviewed by on

The blockyard apartments are almost new, they have great amenities (pool, gym, social club, workspace, etc) and the interior of the apartments is really nice.
Also, it has a very convenient location since the bus stop and the train station are right next to the building.

Pricey but new and everything works

Great location next to the bus stop. Gym is nice. Lots of young people and dogs at this complex. I'm on the interior of the complex so there's less noise from the train and street. Electric range. Somewhat inefficient usage of the square footage for storage. No big issues overall.

Great building, great apartments, some considerations about HVAC

Enjoying my stay here, very conveniently located, well-maintained building with great views and amenities. Only consideration is the HVAC system - once the heater is enabled, the entire building can get really warm especially if it isn't cold outside and vice-versa.

Great Apt, Bad Management

3 management rating Reviewed by on

The building itself is great - apts are good, amenities are nice. However, management is very slow to responses and not helpful. Multiple floors had no hot water for months and they took forever to fix the issue. Pest control takes 2 weeks to schedule.

It’s a great place to stay, just know that management is a bit annoying to deal with.

Great, but Pricey

I have no complaints really about the place I live. However, if I could do it over again, I would pay less and live someplace of similar quality.

Big fan of Parkline!

9 management rating Reviewed by on

Parkline is a great spot! The amenities are clean and readily available, and the management team is both friendly and efficient. It’s the perfect mix of seeing Boothies and getting some time away from the Booth bubble. The study space on the 18th floor is particularly helpful for interviews and group projects.

Great location & building, nice staff, but pricey - Definitely need a roommate!

8 management rating Reviewed by on

I share a one bedroom 1 bathroom with my partner, but there are actually 2 rooms so roommates could easily live here and make it a 2 bed 1 bath situation. Very secure (I feel so safe here as a young woman), the staff and management are awesome, and the location is really perfect because it's near McPherson and Metro Center which encompasses every metro line in the city. It's a 20-25 min commute to GW and super easy to get pretty much anywhere in the city. There is a brand new gym on the roof, lots of good restaurants nearby, and we have a cat who has been very happy here.

Fairway Flats is a very nice place to live. The management has always been very responsive, and I have always felt very safe here. While it is a commute to Topeka, I think it is worth the drive.

Highly recommend

Been living here since shortly after the building opened and 1000M does not disappoint at all. The staff and front office are amazing. Residents are considerate of others and the whole building flows really well together. My wife and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new home! We are glad we decided to move-in to 1000M!
