A lot of law students

9 management rating Reviewed by on

A lot of law students live in this apartment which is nice. The keyed entry feels very safe. I love the staff. There are obviously some issues--for example, there was a period when the fire alarm went off daily--but I don't think any apartment is perfect. They are currently installing a package room where residents will be able to pick up their packages 24/7 (which will be a huge plus). Safe, relatively clean, and pet-friendly. the dog park by the apartment is great. I have never had an issue with irresponsible dog owners and it is kept pretty clean.

Great place to live!

I have enjoyed living here. Maintenence is usually very helpful. The office has great communication with residents. It is also very close to school - I walk every day and it takes less than 15 minutes to walk. It takes about the same amount of time to drive to school. The only downside to this building is that the walls are thin and it's not made with the absolute best quality. But it is safe and secure and looks new and nice! I am happy staying here all three years.

10 min walk to law school!

I love Marq Uptown - it's in a terrific location on the edge of Hyde Park, the layouts are great with high quality furnishings, and the amenities are amazing (gym, pool, barbecue/fire pit areas, sky lounge, "club" room, media room, automated package pickup). There's a huge fenced dog park literally right across the street and the community is safe overall.

Great amenities! Leasing staff is very helpful. Will deliver packages to your door. Box code allows deliveries (like food, etc.) to come right up to your apartment. Walkable to the law school. A LOT of law students live here.

Short walk to campus, nice campus, and easy parking ... for a price!

Pool, gym, dog park. It’s a really nice place to live! I don’t think I’d live there without a significant other or else it would be horribly expensive for just 1 person

I’ve enjoyed it so far. But they just came under new management this year so I can’t say for certain that I will continue to. The gym hands-down is the best of all apartments in Fort Worth. Very close to school.

Love the physical apartment and amenities in the property! However, they recently switched management and they are very difficult to work with.

I love my apartment. The space is really large and an amazing layout. The apartment complex has a lot of green space and includes a dog park. Also, the location is amazing. It is right next to downtown, only a 10 minute walk to sundance square and less than a 10 minute drive to West 7th.

First year living here was great. However there was recently a change in management which has caused some concern for myself and other residents. With renovation underway, parking has gotten worse and there are workers constantly working at inconvenient times (E.g. 7 AM on Sunday). The gates often stop working in the winter and this results in the gates being left open all day and night.

Convenient location, new management working out some kinks

5 management rating Reviewed by on

The amenities (like the gym and pool) are great, but the rent is still a little high for sub-par management. We recently came under new management that is still working out some kinks. They are doing a lot of work on the exterior, which is great, but it has taken them more than a month to replace lightbulbs in my kitchen! I would recommend when you go for tours that you see not only the model apartment but the apartment you have actually applied for. For example, mine was supposed to have a sunroom, and it does not really--it's just open. It make the space look bigger, but not what I expected. Also, mine had carpeting when the model did not (I think that is standard). Overall I've had a decent experience, but nothing to rave about for the price. My main draw was the location.
