Great studio option

Perfect if you want to live alone. Building is pretty old/dated but it’s locked, has a gym and a pool, and an indoor garage. Nice balcony to sit on during spring/summer/fall. Right next to campus but weirdly quiet because it’s on a cul de sac. Right next to a chipotle and coffee shop which is very convenient. The big advantage is location- like 500 feet from West Bank light rail station. This allows you to access school, UMMC, HCMC, and the VA via rail. Also tons of bus routes obviously. Right next to highway entrance as well which is nice when you need to drive somewhere. Other people in building are quiet and usually law students etc. I have lived here over two years and plan to live here another two. Get a unit that is south facing (ie faces light rail rather than highway). The light in winter is incredible and will help regulate your sleep cycle and your plants will get huge.

Great location and housing for the budget price!

I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place close to the law school (literally less than a 2 minute walk) for the most affordable price in the area (by far). The building is definitely older and slightly outdated in some respects, but the managers are extremely flexible in trying to assist you with updating aspects of your apartment if things are in poor condition (I asked about carpet cleaning and they completely replaced my carpet and kitchen flooring that week for free). They also tend to be flexible with students on leasing dates. The property has lost cost parking available if you want it and is fairly secure. Doesn't allow dogs but allows cats and other small pets for additional deposit.

Seven Corners Apt.

Seven Corners is a great place to live your first year. It is right next to the Law School. It is more affordable than other neighboring places. Most utilities are included, and there are some amenities as well. I would say it is a pretty secure building. Management is generally very helpful and friendly but can be disorganized.

Cheap but generally unpleasant

The walls are very thin and the building is located in a very loud area right next to the highway and near a number of bars and commercial parking lots so there are basically people making noise outside all the time. Quiet hours are not observed or enforced. The heaters in units are operated by the building manager and cannot be turned off. It gets too hot often. I can hear everything my neighbor does in their apartment. EVERYTHING. Water pressure is terrible. I can't even wash more than a few dishes at a time because the sink loses water pressure. There are not enough parking spaces for all residents and the ones that are available are expensive. There is not a proper mail room so packages are often stolen from the front lobby. No dogs or fish tanks are allowed. It's sometimes hard to get a hold of maintenance and the last time my toilet broke they didn't fix it for more than two days. I liked the place okay at first but I think a lot more of the units are full now than when I got here so it's much louder. Also there are only two washers and dryers per floor and on my floor only one of each works. I picked this place because it was the cheapest place close to the law school but I am moving next year to a more expensive place I can barely afford because this building is so loud. Two positives: there is a lot of closet space and many units have balconies.

Cheap but old

It is not a fancy facility but is well structured. It is very worthy.
