Looks great online
I am definitely overpaying for my apartment. Online everything looked great but it is a very outdated complex but they do try to take care of it to the best of their abilities. Rent is only different each month. You are only able to pay the day that the rent is due, you cannot pay in advance and there is not a grace period. If you forget to pay, you are hit with a large late fee.

Good location but with bad amenities.
Many of the amenities in the apartment were old and had malfunctions often. The AC would not work a couple of times in the summer. The washer and dryer wouldn't work well and you couldn't use the dish washer as it was really dirty. Each unit is different, some units are newer and others are older, but you pay the same amount.

Great apartment
I’ve lived in Lakeview since my first year at ATSU. I like the apartment and the area is very close to school. The only downside is that the amenities are not as fancy or as nice as the other apartments.

Recommend
The community has several pools and a modest gym. It is a nice place to live if you have dogs as there is a dog park, and most people have pets. Friendly neighbors, and quiet community. It is close to the highways and you don't need to go far to get your basic needs. Even though there are several restaurants and businesses near by, the area is not too lively so you may need to drive 15-20 mins if you want to have fun.
