Handicapped spots are placed away from the door, summer heat kills u-Don't waste your money here

Borderline Scam don't live here unless you don't have a choice, and if that's the case, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING.

I left a previous review halfway through our time there because they refused to fix the AC , which really needed a whole new unit because it was not bringing our rooms below 85 on summer days. Their responses ranged- sometimes you'd get a nice maintenance man who would explain it with actual reasons (E.g., old buildings, rising heat, management refusing to upgrade things, etc), and pretty much anyone from the office has been trained to stall and evade your questions until you give up. After all, like most supers, the owners here are protected and have many lackeys to ensure their income stream doesn't run dry.

They were rude to my roommate who made a couple small mistakes with English as his second language.

The handicapped sign at our unit was ACROSS THE PARKING LOT> I kid you not. It's still there. There were two handicapped ladies who lived in our building and they had to walk across the parking lot or push their chair. On the way out they did the usual nickel and diming because of the lease to get that last bit of money. We showed them pictures in the beginning because our carpet had been cleaned but was still covered in marker, crayon, etc all sorts of markings that wouldn't come off. When we moved out they charged us extra for carpet cleaning because of this, even tho we actually left the carpet better than when we found it. These people DO NOT CARE about you. It is about that money and what they can do legally.

Because of the air conditioning issue we were forced to buy in unit air conditioning and have our windows open a lot. One of the blinds on my roommates window broke and bc they have to replace the whole unit, they charged us 200 bucks extra. Never an apology for our miserable time there, just push us out, wring us for money, and do it again with the next schmuck.

DON"T BE THEIR NEXT PAYCHECK!!!!!There are worse places for sure, but Waterfront Crossing gets by on its location looking nice, and the decent business out front and being on Olive. It's a great location and some of the units are OK< but you DO NOT want to get stuck on the top floor during the summer with a miserable lying secretary who won't let you speak to the property manager.
