Poor Management for High-Cost
The management at Buffalo Canyon has steadily declined over the years. Maintenance orders can be put in with action resulting in no fixes or notes of future promises. The complex also has issues regarding insects and rodents.

Run far away from any FourStar Realty Managed Properties
The apartments are decent and extremely close to campus. As it is centrally located that is the only reason why I am still renting here. Buffalo Canyon has a tendency to charge your resident's accounts with fees if you are not checking your rent ledger. The response time for maintenance request are slow and the leasing terms are egregious, the Boulder County Council should be ashamed of allowing greedy, corrupt management companies rent to students.

Great location, bad management
Ok apartments, not super nice. Management will try to take every penny of security deposit. Close to school.

Buffalo Canyon Apartments Review
Too expensive for what it is

Overpriced, terrible neighbors, not for grad students
This place has been deeply disappointing and if they didn’t have such a hug security deposit I would have been out of there a week after moving in: there is no ac, I was told it was quiet and I can’t sleep most nights.
The interior is nice but it is small and overpriced. Windows and closet door are pretty haggard. Both have broken more than once. It took management two weeks to send someone to fix the only overhead light in the place, because hey didn’t believe that the lights didn’t work...

Great Location, Decent Pricing
I have had a pretty good experience here. I was able to move in with no issues, the staff were quite friendly. Personally I have no problems with the noise in the complex, afterall it is primarily an undergrad complex and I knew this going in. I have hear other people had issues with their gas lines, but for me that has never arisen. Water pressure is great, nice and hot.
Overall I would recommend this complex for someone who wants to be near law school. I do not own a car. This location allows me to shop at either Sprouts or Whole Foods without needing a car. Also close to the university and therefore all those amenities, such as the gym and cafeteria.
