Convenient, but lots of street and bar noise
The apartment is great, very close to Union Square, restaurants and bars on 3rd Ave, but the street is very noisy, and there's a lot of bar noise several nights a week. Management is not super responsive--my window has been rusted shut for months and it's still not fixed. However, it's big enough for a Manhattan apartment and very convenient.
