Great Value
This is one of the most affordable places in Uptown, yet it's very nice. Our apartment is modern, and there's lots of light that streams in from the windows. Management is friendly, and maintenance is timely. The other residents are respectful, and the shared areas (pool, gym, etc) are always in good shape. The only knocks are that the appliances aren't the most powerful (the dishwasher always leaves a few knives or bowls needing more cleaning, and the oven fan is basically useless) and the gym is small (although there's surprisingly high-quality equipment, such as a TRX). It's also great to have free garage parking, even though you do need to be careful going around the tight bends and a lot of the parking spots are tiny.

Post Square
The Post Square is a great place to live. Great location- close to restaurants without the added noise of being above a bar. On the trolley line. Above a Starbucks, gym, Jimmy Johns and hair studio. Management has been updating certain units so quality may vary depending if the unit has been renovated but in general good value.

Great location ... that's about it.
Post Square is a great location, but that's about the best thing it has going for it. The maintenance staff is great about getting to things in a timely manner, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it will be fixed 100%. My apartment was renovated right before I moved in, but it was clear they used cheap materials and crew that was ok with doing things half way. Most of my cabinet doors don't have all the screws in then, and I'm frequently having to tighten them on my own. I had to have my bathtub recovered in less than year because it was flaking off so bad which left me with an AWFUL few weeks as the smell overwhelmed my apartment. The appliances are decent and the natural light is decent, but really I rented this place for the location and my rent reflects that. The gym is tee-tiny and it can get plenty rowdy outside most nights. But like I said, you can't beat the location, so if that's what you're looking for then you've found it.

Great Location, Ok Amenities
Great location. Price is a little high for the quality of the apartment. Amenities are okay. Shops and restaurants are close by and easy to get to. There is a gym located in the apartment building but it is a private gym. But Location is A++++

Oak Lawn Reviews
This is a very active neighborhood with a bar scene on the weekends. There are homeless people who live around here, but they have never bothered me. While I wouldn't call it a dangerous neighborhood, there is probably a little more crime than some larger complexes such as the Village.
