Overpriced, but convenient

Since the law school moved, it is a bit further of a walk than the old school, but still less than 15 minutes. That's the main reason I chose this place because I wasn't sure if I had a car. There is assigned parking if you have a car. There's a washer/dryer in unit and you get a balcony (although some just overlook the parking lot.) There's direct entry so you can just go straight into your apartment and don't have to go through hallways, etc., but the stairs and common areas do not get cleaned often (if at all). The walls are paper thin and a lot of loud undergrads live here and the streets outside are always noisy, which can make it hard to study. Maintenance requests take a super long time. The water pressure is subpar. The "gym" feels crowded if there's 2 people in it; it's pretty much just a rack of free weights and a handful of machines. The scanner for gate for cars to get in has been broken since I've moved in so the gate is just open, so anyone can just drive in, not just residents. Not horrible, but definitely not great.

65 West

It is in a great location-- very close to the law school. Its about a 2 minute drive and a 10 minute walk. It's gated, so I feel very safe. It has a gym, study rooms, etc.

While the appliances are new, the walls are paper thin and not well insulated. Even if I kept my apartment at 68 degrees during the winter, my heating bill is exorbitantly high.

See above. Also, the management company is terrible. They take at minimum two days to reply to emails, so it is best to call.

Great apartment close to UC campus

I really love 65 West! I have lived in the complex for three years now, and I have had a great experience. Very clean, with a nice clubhouse and gym inside. Highly recommend! Also close to many restaurants and walking distance from UC campus!

65 W review

Clifton is loud and always busy. The property itself is nice and maintenance is great (given the fact that property is new), but the noise pollution can be taxing at times.
