Riverside Apartments

It is spacious and has a lot of closet space. It is a 15 min walk from campus.

Prime Housing Group has several buildings/properties on campus in East Lansing and the one I live in is called "Riverside West". It has a great location right at the western edge of campus and is very close to the MSU med school buildings.

Parking spaces are narrow and not too great (not a lot of spots and no overhead coverage) but the prices are very fair for single and doubles, and the apartment and space is comfortable (already equipped with one or two full couches and a mini-dinette set with basic chairs). No garbage disposal or handicap spots since the building is older (eye roll) and no in-unit washer or dryer, but they do have community washing and drying rooms (one room on the first floor with 1$ for washing and 1$ for drying). Management is fair and had emergency service that is available after hours and on weekends. Overall, I have had a good living experience here.

Right on grand river at affordable pricing. I pay $540 (rent + wifi + electricity) . I share a 2 bed 1 bath with my classmate.

Last year we had a pretty bad apartment, so comparatively to our old building, it is a great place. It's within 10 minutes walking distance from the school, therefore you can come back and forth to home for lunch. And also, this apartment is fully furnished except the bed. We are next to the river, so it's very closeby to trees and greens. If you are not using your parking, you can give to your classmates as well. The good part is heating and water bills are included in the rent fee, therefore a lot less to pay for utilities. The only drawback is it's next to the main road, however, the bus stop is right next to us and we don't really get disturbed by the traffic noise.
