Good place to live!
Island Park has fair rent prices and is a safe and quiet area to live. The leasing office is easy to work with and responsive to any issues that may come up. I would recommend living here if you want to live on Mud Island.

Island Park
I feel very safe living in my apartment on mud island. My complex is gated and towards the north side of the island.

Outdated compared to other places on the island
I have lived at a different complex on the island owned by the same company. The other complex, The Estates, is much better. Island Park is more expensive, more compact, more outdated, and less safe. There was a carjacking at gunpoint inside of the complex (inside the gate) that the management refuses to address. The gate was broken for 2 months upon move in. I also have an upgraded unit that is not up to upgraded standards besides being stainless steel. When I moved in things were visibly broken which means they did not even do a walk through to make sure everything was fixed before I moved in. Management is a bit difficult and will jump around your questions. Unless this one is the only complex available, choose any complex on the island other than this one or Riverset.
