Great for SMU students- close to campus, safe neighborhood, good amenities, lots of other students

It would be rated higher than 7, but they have problems with their alarm systems going off too much. Management is too hard to get ahold of by phone.
Maintenance is amazing though! You request online and they come right away. Very helpful.

This apartment is close to campus and has great access to the University Crossing trail (for walking, running, and general outdoor time). The downside is that the new management company took over and somethings have been slipping through the cracks. For example, the hallways used to be cleaned regularly, and now it may happen once a month or once every few months. Since it is a pet friendly living quarters this can cause dirt, mud, animal fur, and other debris to build up in the concrete hallways easily.

It is a really great place to live that is close to campus, has a walking trail, and has nice units. I will say that they do not have the best package system (you ship it to a warehouse and order delivery to your door) but overall it is safe and well-maintained.

The Ash has great amenities and spacious apartments. This is a great place to live for pet owners with direct access to an extension of the Katy Trail and a huge field where all the dogs play in the evening. The new management is frustrating and not very helpful though, they would be the main reason I wouldn’t release

I have lived at this apartment for three years and absolutely love it. It is very safe and pet friendly. New management has taken over and many people do not like them as much as the prior management, but other than that, I have no complaints and love it here.

I love living here the community is awesome and it feels so safe. The back of the building has access to a nice walking trail!

Great place to live! A lot of students, but also a lot of young adults. Appliances are great, it is very close to campus. My only complaint is the current construction.

The ash is a great place to live. The bedrooms/closets are huge which was a huge plus for us so we could put large desks in the rooms. the amenities here are also really great - large updated gym, huge pool, hammock areas, dog park/showers. It takes about 5 minutes to drive to campus and is really centrally located for accessing grocery stores and restaurants
