Cedar at the Branch

The apartment is very clean and new with great amenities, if you value having a gym, pool, valet trash, and access to a trail system to exercise on this is a great location just across the highway from campus.
The rent is by no means cheap, but the facilities are very nice.
Pay attention to added on fees and expectation for you to pay your own utilities + internet. Expect about $200 in fees including utilities on top of rent price per month.

Great place

Great spot for students!

They have been accommodating and helpful. The SMU bus comes to our complex which is convenient. The walls are a little thin and I can hear my neighbors which is the only major con.

The location is nice were is it hidden with other apartments. There is also the trail behind the building. The studio is a nice size for one person. The building is newer and finishes are lovely.

However, the management is not nice. They will increase your rent and many people are leaving for that reason. The floors are thin so you will hear everything going on upstairs.

The apartment itself is really great but it’s not that clean and management is super unorganized. It’s close to campus and parking is really easy.

The studio space is perfect for one person. You have a beautiful kitchen with lots of cabinet space, a large closet, and room for a living space, bedroom, and desk.

The management is alright. It is better than I have had before, but they could improve. The maintenance man is great though!

The package system is not the best. I know packages have gone missing and I have had my package opened and half missing. However, they will work if you if they can depending on the situation.

It is a smart apartment. You can control the lock on the door and temperature with your phone. It also comes with an alarm system.

I do not think the walls are thin as I have never heard my neighbors. However, I do hear the floor above me walking around.

The building is brand new and we are the first people to live in our apartment. The apartment is very nice on the inside with state-of-the-art appliances and plenty of room. All of the apartments have electronic keys through an app that allows you to control the temperature and set an alarm. The amenities are great and all of the other residents are pleasant to live around. We love it!
