Town Walk at Hamden Hills

I really like its location in Hamden, that it is a little secluded, and next to the Farmington canal trail. It is expensive and nothing is included in the rent and there's an amenity fee that's not worth it. Maintenance team is fantastic, but the buildings are poorly made, and they are having to fix small problems over and over again.

The location is great as the commute to campus is easy and traveling into New Haven is not difficult. The apartment has all basic amenities and parking directly outside the unit. Have not had any notable issues with management or maintenance since being there for 6 months. Living on the top floor has been ideal as we do not have any noisy neighbors above us.

This is a solid spot as a relatively cheap option. The management is ok, certainly responsive to broken appliances etc. The apartments themselves are nice enough with good space. Depending on the room you get (and the apartment) you may have a lot of closet space or very little.

I live with two friends from home and we all feel like Town Walk is very communicative, helpful, safe, and enjoyable. Management is great and the apartment itself is very nice.

The only downside of living in this apartment was that we dealt with a bug infestations; however, management was super responsive.

Gym is nice, close to campus. Many Netter students live here! Near Hamden shops!

We are having a great experience at Town Walk. The management is very helpful and the community is great. We love having the Farmington Canal in our back yard. The price is a little higher than that of other areas, but I would say the community, location, and management make up for it.

Lots of other med students and grad students live here and it has been a decent place. There is a pool and small gym. Complaints are that the walls are super thin and you can hear your neighbors walking around upstairs all the time. Lots of families with young kids live here so it is not an apartment where you can have large gatherings often. the dumpster is pretty far away from a lot of apartments. not sure that I would recommend a first floor apartment due to the noise and privacy. overall, I have not really had any issues living here and it would be somewhere safe to live especially for first year.

They have great amenities, the apartments themselves are nice and have good amenities including washer/dryer, dishwasher, and a/c. Management has been responsive to our maintenance requests. It’s in a good location as well, close to gyms, grocery stores, a walking trail, only 15 mins from downtown New Haven and 15 minutes from school.

I have had a great experience at town walk so far. The gym has been great. Maintenance is quick to reply. The proximity to grocery stores and school has been great as well.
