Great place. Lots of med students. Great floor plan. Convenient parking and amenities. Good location. Priced slightly high but worth it.

Great facilities & lovely management!

Little to no complaints about Canal Crossing besides the price. But, they do have subsidized apartments. Management is great, there is on property maintenance employees, amazing pool, on property gym, and the units themselves are lovely.

Canal Crossing

My partner and I live in a large 1-bedroom apartment, and it is absolutely perfect. The manager, Donna, is AWESOME, and we feel so safe and respected here. It's very quiet, but they also host tons of fun activities for the community and frequently have food trucks.

Netter MD student

Canal Crossing is great - My drive to the North Haven campus is short, the apartment is lovely and spacious, the gym/pool are great perks... and so many other Netter MD students live there so it feels like I have a sense of community outside of school. Lots of M1s, M2s, M3s and M4s live at Canal Crossing. Management is AMAZING - super responsive (which is great because that's the last thing I want to worry about as a medical student). It's also super close to New Haven... which is nice when I want to grab a quick meal or explore New Haven. I'm very happy with my decision to live at Canal Crossing.

Canal Crossing Review

Great complex, not fantastic area outside of the complex. The commute is about 15 minutes to and from school. The complex is renovated, has a pool, grills, areas to sit with friends, hammocks, a walking trail, an area for pets, a lounge open to everyone (which can be reserved), an open study room, and a 24/7 gym.

Great place to live

I've lived here with my partner and two dogs for several years and we love it. Everyone is friendly and the amenities are great. Apartments are clean and newly built, and management is responsive. The location of the complex is near a lot of grocery stores/restaurants/etc. Our dogs love the park and the annual puppy plunge.

Great facilities & lovely management!

As a medical student, there is a lot to worry about, and living at Canal Crossing does not add to that list. The facilities are lovely, the maintenance is attentive when needed, etc. With that being said, you do get what you pay for.
