Z Islander Apartments

I have been living here for a year, and overall it has been okay. I reported an issue with the fridge, it was only a minor problem, but the entire unit was replaced. Maintenance is included with rental (no extra charges).

Close to campus, good amenities, gated community, all in all good, management/maintenance can be a little slow, but no issues. Pool is very nice and they have activities sometimes, plus a bus stop, volleyball court, and basketball court

It may be take around 25-35 mins to reach Mays from Z Islander. Hence , try to get a cycle or electric scooter if possible for frequent commutes.

I like it. Good timely maintenance! Apartments are clean and well lit. No cockroach or pest issues.

Horrible experience!! No one will respond to calls or email us back. So I’ve taken to all social media. I’ll repost if they respond somewhere.

They are trying to charge us almost $800 in fees after no check-out with someone (after we repeatedly requested). On our move-in day, the apartment was in complete and total disarray. No carpeting, furniture was nasty and sitting in the closets, bathrooms and porch and the place smelled of cat urine. I have videos and photos to prove.

We have left several messages and sent many emails but no one will respond. Avoid this place and The Scion Group with everything inch of your being.

Too many parties and loud neighbors. They do inspections as if you were living in a dorm.

Good overall, not much to look at

My apartment building is fairly clean, and I feel safe inside the compound. In comparison to the other grad students' housing that I have seen, I live in an apartment that is older and more run down than most. It is about a 15 minute drive from the Allen building and close to two grocery stores.

Good fully furnished apartment complex but little bit expensive ( $450-500 per month). Management is not very responsive
