Although living here is a bit pricey, if you enjoy peace of mind and walking distance to school then this place is for you. I lived at another apt in LGD which was terrible, and then came here. Very drastic difference in the quality of the apt.

Excellent facilities, great staff, awesome place to live. When I first moved in 3.5 years ago, rent was $1800 and included parking. Now, rent is $2100 + $70 parking fee. Haven’t moved out just bc of the cost and inconvenience of moving.

Great place but pricey.

Complex is great with many amenities including gym, pool, large shared workspace, and covered parking. Biggest downside is it’s on canal street which can get pretty loud at night and on weekends.

Amazing apartment experience. Have not moved since my first year of med school and will spend all of med school here. There is also like 15-20 students from my class who live here so even though I live alone, it is nice to have a community. Apartment is also very safe there is 24/7 security. Pest control comes by every few months (have never had any issues). Maintenance comes within 24-48 hours and always does a great job - no issues. Apartments are a little pricey but pool/gym/parking is included. Also a 2 minute walk from Murphy which is a huge plus. 5 of my friends have moved in since visiting my place. I could not recommend more highly.

Great amenities and so close to the SOM!

Living at Canal 1535 overall has been good! Some of my favorite perks are the free coffee bar, the conference room, and business room with a free printer. Every apartment also has a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and it seems like every apartment has a balcony, something unique among most of the apartments in downtown NOLA. Lastly, it is a 5-15 minute walk to the downtown Tulane campus, so I don’t have to worry about paying for another parking garage. My only cons are even though it’s technically in the CBD, you feel pretty removed from the CBD. There also is a lot of homeless people close by, so you have to be extra alert when walking to and from the building.

It is a little bit expensive, but worthy. Close to the Tulane, 24/7 security and tidy community space.

Close to campus nice amenities

New apartments, a rarity in New Orleans, and very close to the medical school and downtown buildings. Rent is on the high side but parking is included and the convenience is hard to beat.
