Best place to live

The building is old, over a hundred years at this point. The building is well maintained, and the property company who manages it (Bright Properties) is stellar. They never take more than 24 hours to fix or respond to maintenance requests, they listen to their tenants if there are any problems or concerns, they're friendly and respectful, which makes me want to rent from them again. I have lived in my apartment (a studio) for close to four years now and plan on living there another four. The location is stellar, close to downtown and the streetcar, there's a grocery store one block over, an ace one block away, and fourth avenue is a short stroll nearby. Never had any major issues with the place (my shower is a bit wonky but again-- building is a hundred years old). Safety is good, there are two doors at every entrance for security, there's a gated parking lot, and plenty of parking spaces.

The building is very homey, and comfortable. My studio is huge and I pay a great price for the location, square footage, and adequate care for the building. The only thing is it doesn't have a pool or an enclosed courtyard but it doesn't seem to bother me much.

Tenants are all nice and friendly. We have a community entrance table where people can leave food, household supplies, notes, etc. People bring in packages for each other, water the plants out front, and the building is never loud with parties. It is quiet, quaint, and a great place to come home to after school or work where it will be relaxing.
