It is ok, but needs some work
It was quiet and clean when I moved in a few years ago. They are now under new management and the property rent has increased but the value has decreased. We need a courtesy officer because we have loud, disrespectful neighbors. Additionally, these are renovated units from the 70s/80s and they need to more work for upkeep like better management of sewer/pipe issues, better management of crawl spaces and foundational gaps (I now have rats and roaches because of holes under the kitchen sink that need to be properly sealed), etc.

Frustrating experience
I had problems with my roommates. The administration said that they would put me in an apartment with other students and I was the only there. I had to call the police one night because there was people knocking on my windows and doing drugs. Also, in the first month I was here there was a shooting in the complex. When I ordered for better treatment with the administration they said they couldn't do anything about.

Social Block and Townhomes
The property is managed well with work requests getting filled very quickly. During move-in week; however, you should expect things to move very slowly as everyone is putting in work orders. It is expensive considering I have friends to pay around half for a 2 bed 1.5 bath apartment that are another two miles away from campus. It is good if you are just moving to Starkville, but I recommend other properties if you plan to stay for more than two years.
