Delmar Loop Apartments

I enjoy my unit in the building quite a bit. The leasing company was easy to work with while signing my lease, but since then some people have left and I have a bit harder time contacting them about issues. Quiet building and there is a no smoking policy but the shared areas like the hallways often smell a little bit like smoke/weed. My unit is very nice, updated kitchen and flooring. Clean and did not smell weird at all. Feels safe and has a gated parking lot. There is an amazon hub located in the building and the entire first floor is office spaces. There is a small gym and it is very close to Forest Park, grocery stores, other students live nearby and close to Washington University Campus. The area feels safe but as a single woman I take precautions and am extra aware. Overall, there are many positives and I am generally more happy than not about my living arrangements.

Generally good service with some outlier issues

Not in the best location, but the management and neighbours are nice

This is a decent building if you want to be close to school. It's a 10 minute walk to the metro station and then a 4 minute train ride to campus or a 6 minute walk to the #1 bus stop. The management is not good. They are not timely to service complaints (washer/dryers not working, one of the elevators is almost always not working, etc.). I had mold in my A/C unit and management was very nonchalant about it. There is a gym but I have never used it. Overall, it's a decent place to live as there are many students and elders, and also some families, but it is generally pretty quiet. Pet friendly.
