Entrada Real

I think this a pretty good apartment in general, the only dislike is that they raised rent by $100+ without any improvements which is annoying. I have lived there for almost 3 years. I have my own bedroom and bathroom, laundry in unit, full size fridge, sink, oven/stove, and dishwasher. The apartment is furnished which saves a lot of money and decent storage. I live on the top floor for an extra $10 a month but SO worth it. There is a balcony. I think my favorite part is that I am a 10 min walk to 4th Ave and Downtown and the public transit of the sunlink. Management is management, not the best. Gym and pool is small but usable for sure. Safety wise, people experiencing homelessness come around due to location, but I usually feel safe and there is a security company we can call at any time.

I lived at Entrada Real for two years, during that time my car was stolen from the parking lot twice and my boyfriends car was stolen once. After reporting this to the management company, they decided to increase security measures by putting up "remember to lock your car" signs. It is clear that this complex is known for it's lack of security. Inside of the apartment, our AC unit hadn't been working, we had put in multiple work orders that were all dismissed until we reached out to upper management. When they finally got a third party in to look at the AC they reported that the unit was missing an important filter and it was a dangerous fire hazard, and we were lucky nothing bad had happened in the months that we were waiting for a fix. The maintenance staff is very kind and always did their best other than the aforementioned AC issue. This place is much too pricey for what you are actually getting, and they continue to raise rent by >$100 each year without improvements in security, or improved ammenities. I originally moved here because it was cheap and I could put up with all of the mishaps, but now it's an expensive dump.

This apartment is great for students as they are 3x3 or 4x4 so everyone has their own private bathroom. The location is great for the proximity to campus, and you are close to University Ave.

Good housing community for UoA students

Entrada Real norte is a great housing community which is near to eller college of management. Most of the students are from eller. All the amenities are included in the rent no hidden charges and the management is very responsive and good.

A good place if you are looking for a 1 room 1 bath

For the price, I am satisfied with my housing situation. I was annoyed at the beginning of my lease because the housing administrator made it seem as though I could live with my preferred roommates, but this was actually not an option. The leasing office never told me that it would not be possible. I felt like they made it seem as though we could select our roommates so that I could sign the lease. Further, they did not take my roommate interest form into consideration at all. There were too many false promises from this leasing office.
