Graduate Centre

This apartment has a strange set-up. I technically live in a 4B4B, but each bedroom has a private entrance. It really feels more like having a studio Apt because I only share a kitchen.

It's a great, cheap option for those who want privacy & proximity to the law school.

It’s fine for the price. The kitchen is pretty grungy, and you can’t choose your roommates. Other than that, I don’t mind it. The location and price are perfect.

Love the layout of having my own bed/bath/entryway. The microwave + minifridge in the individual bedrooms are also great. However, the kitchen/common area leaves a lot to be desired. Very little counter space in the kitchen and it was INCREDIBLY dirty when I moved in. My roommates and I spent a full week cleaning it just so it could be used. Previous tenants are supposed to keep the area clean, but management does not do a good job of ensuring that the common area is clean before new residents move in.

Other than that, management is incredibly responsive & quick with any maitenance requests and I like the area. solid 5-10 minute walk from the law/business schools, 5 min walk to the grocery store, 15 min walk to North Grounds Rec Center, and close to bus stops. The non-loft bedrooms don't have a lot of natural light, but the common area does.

Management is great, but the common area was super dirty when we moved in. Utilities like washing machine are super clunky.

Amazing location close to the law school for a reasonable price. Each person is on an individual lease and has their own entrance to their private bedroom and bathroom. Laundry room on site but no additional amenities. You share a kitchen with three other people. Downside is you don't know who your roommates are until you show up, unless you somehow coordinate to apply with someone you already know. Responsive management and maintenance.

The management office only is only opened 10am-4pm of weekday. They did not any cleaning before moving in. The common kitchen was sticky, smell bad.

Good for students wanting to live alone for cheap

Management is absolutely horrible. Close walking distance to the law school, cheap, & private bathroom but 100% not worth it. Apartments are contaminated with mold. Asbestos within the walls. My room ended up absolutely covered in mold and I had to move out for two weeks. Management almost refused to compensate me, find housing, store items, etc. they are terrible at communicating & issues go unaddressed.
