Overall rating 5.8/10, based on 83 renter reviews Write a review
Stay away from!!!!!
So the rent is very high and they charge additional for parking. The elevator has been not working for months. Trash piles up outside the entry doors on a reg basis. They even tried to call and say we have a new tenant so you can move out early however we charge a relet fee of 85% of your rent. so basically we collect the fee from you and release the apartment and collect the new rent also so they can double dip!!!!!! Very unethical way to treat residents. Spoke management and there answer was "thats the fee" They could totally careless. So my advice is find other places to live as there are lots of great options other than this place with much more professional management.

"Upgraded" Wifi is Terrible
The wifi was "upgraded" a few weeks ago and has been terrible. You have to make an account with a new service. Then after making an account you get wifi that can't even make FaceTime calls. This place is NOT worth it they are trying to scam you out of every penny.

Nice apartment but not worth the money
The apartment is overpriced for what you get. There are constant maintenance problems, the internet is shared throughout the building (it is an open network, so it is not secure), and the staff can often be rude when you have problems. It is a huge benefit that it is so close to the law school, and it is obviously very nice aesthetically, but it is disappointing for the price you pay.

Great Location and Comfy Apartments, Bad Management
I have lived here for three years. My room and apartment are great. The maintenance staff is also really nice and responsive. I think the management is mediocre.

Sucks but bearable
Constant issues with the property. Poor internet, packages getting stolen, mail elevator breaking down, and my car got broken into in their "secure" garage. The living experience does not justify the price.

Nice Property, High Rent
The property is pretty nice with a lot of amenities, but upkeep isn't fantastic, and it's kinda dirty. As someone that doesn't use most of the amenities, the price maybe isn't worth it. It isn't as social as you might expect, either.

Pat
I really like being able to walk to school, and my apartment is nice. Can be loud off the pool in the summer.

Not great but best for UVA
The management company is not great, they don't respond to issues very quickly and there are definitely some problems with the building like the elevator and wifi. They are upgrading the wifi so hopefully that helps and are doing some work on the elevator soon. Overall, it has its issues but I think a lot of the housing isn't perfect so I personally wouldn't live elsewhere and have resigned for next year, just know what you're getting into. The furniture package made it easy for me since I'm out of state so that was a major selling point.

Pavilion
Overall, I've stayed at Pav because of how convenient its location is and also the convenience of having an in-unit washer/dryer and personal bathroom. Outside of those benefits, the rest of the building is falling apart and I am not sure it's worth the high cost of rent for Charlottesville.
