Overall good
Overall, it's good. I like the convenience as it is so close to the UVA Law School.

Pav Review
A lot of maintenance going on always, very noisy and little noise control between apartments or from the outside. Staff is unresponsive and unhelpful most of the time. But otherwise, it's an okay apartment and convenient for school -- just way overpriced and falling apart.

Great location & lots of amenities
The location is so nice because it's right by the barracks shopping center, the law school, and the business school. It's mostly students, which is awesome if you're a student. The amenities are amazing, including study rooms, a printer, a gym, a pool, fire pits, a dog park, and in-unit laundry (this last one is huge!). Sometimes things break, and it takes a little bit to fix. For example, the elevator broke and was out for WEEKS. But if something breaks in the apartment, they're pretty good about fixing/replacing it.

Yearly flooding
Please be aware that every year for the past three years apartments in this building have flooded due to broken pipes. This is a yearly and recurring problem. Residents have had to relocate while their apartments are torn up due to flooding. The building claims to do mold remediation but clearly paints over walls where water had leaked without remediating the potential moisture/mold. Management are not sympathetic or responsive when these events occur.

Location makes up
The pavilion is an unbeatable location for law / business students. This is the main selling point. Other than location, the price makes little to no sense.

It's not bad at all, expensive comparatively, elevator always broken
People usually say Pav sucks and I understand where they are coming from. But where I am coming from, I used to live in a curtained off living room so it's very nice to me. And coming from Los Angeles, it's actually only $100-$200 more per month than I was paying to live in the living room. Yes, there are cheaper options around here. But I like the safety of living on the 4th floor, nice covered parking, and gym access. Proximity to school is important to me. They are always on it for fixing broken things. I will say some major issues are the constantly broken main elevator and sometimes just major floods/leaks. I know that really badly affected a handful of students I know. The mailroom at times is also horribly unorganized and I've lost mail there for sure. But I know of this and send important packages elsewhere.

Feels like a dorm but you are paying for location
The location is unbeatable and it is the nicest close option. With that being said the management is bad, the elevator is always broken, and it seems there is a major plumbing issue every year. The maintenance is fast.

Convenient
Not the best management, but it's furnished and in a good location. Super convenient being so close to the law school plus Barracks, and also very convenient to be living in proximitiy with many other law students. Overall very comfortable place to live.

Review
It is convenient, short walk from the law school, but a little more expensive than other options. The management company also is not always too timely with maintenance requests. But, there are lots of facilities, study spaces, gym.
