Nice Location/Not "luxury"
Positives: Nice location in downtown Baton Rouge close to the levee. You can walk to restaurants and the grocery store Mathernes, which is very convenient! Beautiful apartments in a historic down town building that come with large walk-in closet and a garage space.
Negatives: This apartment is billed as a luxury apartment, but there are no added amenities and electricity and internet are not included in the rent. The building, a former train warehouse, is also right next to a very active, very loud rail line. Additionally, maintenance is very unresponsive. It is March and we have been waiting for repairs to our dishwasher since last August. Building is also not very handicap accessible: There are two elevators, but one is always out of service, and the other frequently shuts down.
