Brentwood Forest Condos

We have owned our condo for 11 years. The convenient location near shopping, entertainment, major highways and upscale neighborhoods is incredible. There was some mismanagement with our previous HOA because they were not keeping HOA fees in line with inflation. Additionally, these are older buildings and the insurance regulations became more strict than they had been in the past. This led to problems getting insurance and then led to issues of some potential buyers getting financing from banks for home loans. Brentwood Forest has received some negative and unfair press regarding this because the new HOA was trying to solve these problems under a lot of criticism. The new HOA has resolved the problems. Yes, our HOA fees did go up but they are in line with other comparative condos. Yes, we had to pay some extra fees to play catch up so that things could be brought up to the insurers specifications. It is still a bargain to live here in the well maintained, convenient community. We have retirees, students, young professionals and some families. This is a dog friendly community and a great place to walk your dog, play tennis or pickle ball, swim or bask in the sun. We highly recommend that you take a look at Brentwood Forest.

Older building & I had some move in problems (they didn’t do a final walk through before I got my keys so it needed some minor repairs and cleaning still) but maintenance is one guy who manages their properties in the area, he’s pretty responsive and will come by to repair whatever as soon as possible. The only issue I’ve had so far was my washing machine stopped working and he repaired it within 2 days of being notified. It’s about a 8-25 minute drive to campus depending on time of day and traffic, about 6-8 minutes from St Mary’s hospital which was nice 3rd year when I rotated there.

Great area, safe, lots of young people. Good place to walk around and can walk to Whole Foods/bread co. Swimming pool and tennis courts.

Very close to everything, only 15 minutes from the school. I feel very safe.

Brentwood Forest is a condo community tucked away in Brentwood. It is very active and you always see people walking around, at the tennis courts, or going to the pool. The age ranges are very diverse but there is a lot of young people in this neighborhood. It is close to the city, while still having a semi-suburban atmosphere, and is very safe. I love Brentwood Forest and highly recommend it. Two of my close friends have also moved in since I moved here, and they love it as well.
