Central House in Columbia

I would strongly discourage students from living in any properties owned by Cardinal Group Management, or really any apartment that's owned by a large company with a corporate landlord. The quality of apartments and appliances is always very sub-par, as these are units built en masse. The rent hikes are usually pretty outrageous, and there are several clauses in leases that just generally make it more expensive and tend to take advantage of students. I would encourage students to find a living situation with a private landlord that is local to Columbia.

Much better than other Element communities

My roommates and I (all 3 are law students) just moved into our apartment in August. Our maintenance requests have been taken care of in a timely manner, the staff is very friendly, and the apartment is amazing for what we pay in rent. We lived in the Adora, also managed by Element last year and had a very bad experience (including being robbed) and can say that Central House is much safer and better overall.
