It’s Fine

Cheap as it gets around this area. Noisy neighbors at times. Thin walls. Hot water doesn’t last long. Property not in the best shape. Multiple toilet and faucet issues.

Hated it, only benefit was proximity to campus

It was terrible. Basically all undergrads, so it’s super noisy all the time and the walls are thin so you can hear everything. The dumpsters were also directly behind the one window I had in my apartment and people would hang out by those at all hours of the night which was annoying and a little scary. Also, the corner market is right across the street which causes more noise/foot traffic. The parking lot is not set up well so my car (and many others) was hit multiple times and no one ever leaves a note. I also had problems with bugs all year long even though I kept my apartment clean and they come inside your apartment once a month to spray. I found fleas repeatedly and was told they must jump on my clothes outside so I was bringing them in. I also found roaches inside kitchen cabinets. Upon move out, I never got my security deposit back and they claimed I owed even more money for ridiculous cleaning fees ($225) for things like dust on the vent and not cleaning out the ice tray. It was a rip off. The only benefit was how close of a walk it was to campus so I could pop back home in between classes to check on my dog, but it wasn’t even a good spot to own a dog because there’s no where to take your pet out - the tiny area behind one building isn’t fenced in and no one picks up after their pet/they never cut the grass. Don’t live in any of the Hive buildings because the management sucks.
