Great Building, Lots of Hidden Prices

I reported this management company to the Attorney General for all the hidden fees and double-charging for utilities.

Sketchy Utility Scheme

The apartment bills for “community utilities,” including common area lighting and heating. This adds an additional $60-$100 in cost per month.

No utilities are included in rent, and it is frustrating to juggle bills with five different companies.

Great with minor flaws

I really love my apartment! The amenities are some of the best I have come across in Minneapolis, it feels VERY safe, and the units are beautiful and spacious compared to other apartments I toured. The community is friendly, especially the residents, and it is very short commute. It is also right between downtown and Roseville, so there is a huge variety of shopping and restaurant options in many price points. My concerns would be that 1.) it is very expensive, especially with the hidden fees that come in after rent and it seems they are adding a new fee every month. 2.) The parking situation is ridiculous. It is $200 a month for a spot. When I first moved in, there was guest parking available and oversized cars had to park in larger spots, but now there is no guest parking and essentially zero street parking (even though the apartment claims there is), and the garage is full of oversized cars which are difficult to drive around. Management refuses to acknowledge it despite complaints, and it is very very difficult to have guests over because of it.
