Great Find in the Heart of Bloomington
Personally, I don't think there's a more desirable location to live as a law student. I'm on the doorstep of every major restaurant, shop, and nightlife spot in Downtown Bloomington, and yet, I'm a reasonable walk away from Maurer. My living space in the studio floor plan is relatively small, but all the amenities are modern and in great shape. Note that parking is not included; I have to pay roughly $100/month to park in a city-operated garage across the street.

New building in central location
My experience overall at Alley Works has been a positive one. The building is brand new and located just a block off of Fountain Square in the middle of downtown Bloomington. Management is responsive; maintenence requests are acted upon in a timely fashion. Overall safety of the building could be improved - it's not super secure - but fortunately crime in Bloomington is low. Utilities are not included in rent but tenants are billed flat rates for water and trash. Internet is also offered at a flat rate for tenants to opt into. Overall, I am satisfied with my unit, the building and the management company and would recommend living here.
