Get what you pay for - worth it
The cost is fantastic to be able to live alone. The area is convenient to a lot of food and shopping (west knox). I haven't met many neighbors and if you're a party person, the walls are probably too thin and someone would likely complain about that. But it is perfect for me because I spend very little time in my apt, live alone, and like to have peace and quiet. Mostly lower income people living in these apartments, with a few other students as well. Not bad vibes. I don't have much natural light in my apartment but that's why lamps exist I guess! Had a couple issues with water heater and random stuff but maintenance fixed it in a timely manner.

Decent affordable place to live in West Knox
For the price it's a great apartment. About a 15 min drive to campus.
Pros:
Management is friendly
Maintenance is responsive
Quiet and friendly neighbors
Pool
They replace the flooring before you move in (at least they did for us)

Cons:
The complex is not smoke free and previous residents smoked, so you're likely to get an apartment that has lingering smell of smoke.
Maintenance responds quickly but often doesn't fix the problem completely (band-aid fixes).
Kitchen cabinets and other storage are not very practical.
Had some mold problems.

Nice affordable place to live in West Knox
Woodview is a nice quiet apartment complex to live at. The apartment buildings are a little older but the units have been rennovated and look good. There is a lot of good natural light and the neighborhood is quiet. There aren't a ton of students living here so if you're looking for a social student complex this probably isn't it. For the price it's a great deal, management is helpful and friendly too.
