Safe, pet friendly downtown apartment
Moving from out of state I was worried about finding somewhere safe and close to campus. The Flin, while a little pricey, has been great. I live in a 1B, 1B apartment with my dog with in-unit laundry, trash vallet, 24-hour gym access and underground garage parking (for an additional $90/month). There is a good mix of students and adults in the building, so it's quiet most times. It is located right on the edge of downtown so you can walk wherever you want to go without dealing with the noise of being right in the center of downtown. Plus, The Sunlink, which goes to campus, is right outside the front door. I've had no safety or maintenance concerns so far. Only complaint is closet space is limited if living with more than one person.
