Best for your buck, but could use more TLC.

Apartment nicely sized; nice pool although the lounging area around it is quite small. The East Wing portion of the complex is MUCH better taken care of (gorgeous landscaping in East where the leasing office is, lobbies are well taken care of), while West (I live in West) seems to be an afterthought to management, even after complaints from MANY of the residents. New windows in all apartments were installed in 2016, and new balconies were installed in 2014, both very nice. Love the apartment, just wish both the East and West wings were taken care of equally. Management could be more pleasant. Laundry rooms are on every floor, but some floors have more washers and dryers than the other floors. Cat friendly, though I believe there is now a monthly fee for cats (not 100% sure about that.)

People are nice

The apartment is quiet if there's no one in the hall. I've only ever heard my neighbors twice. Maintenace is quick to fix things but the fix isn't always the best one. Appliances all need updating and the cabinets seem like they haven't been updated since the 90s. Need a new exterminator. Lots of closets and high ceilings. You can paint the walls as long as you paint them back to white when you leave and it's very close to the Blvd for public transit. Difficult to get to going north on Blvd though. Staff is great but they really should Email rather than call for maintenance requests unless it's an emergency. Don't have large packages delivered your place because we've had packages stolen from outside our door. Fire alarm goes off really quick if you are cooking at high heats.
Good environment for quiet people but the place needs ALOT of updating and they need a new exterminator

Good Size, Medicore Location, OK Management

I have lived at St. Regis for 2.5 years an my overall experience has been decent. Our 1-bedroom apartment is a nice size with lots of closet space. We live on the ground floor and have a patio with a sliding door and are close to the community pool.
Being right off the Roosevelt Boulevard is convenient, but aside from the shopping centers at Welsh and the Boulevard there really are not many "attractions" within walking distance.
Parking for two cars is allowed in the lot, but spaces fill up very quickly and we often have to park far from the entrance if we come home after 7pm.
There are a lot of elderly people who live in the complex, and the "social club" is really geared toward them with lots of bingo opportunities. There are also a lot of young families and kids who live in the complex as well.
We have had some minor issues with management and maintenance, including slow response time to emails and requests submitted online. Sometimes these requests were missed altogether and we always have to follow up and double check on everything.
The rent is reasonable but has gone up each year and we haven't seen many improvements or additional amenities for the increase. In fact, laundry prices went up which has been very inconvenient.
Overall, out experience at St. Regis has been decent. It's probably par for the course for big complexes in Northeast Philly. Not amazing, but not bad either.
