A bit too much for what you get
Rent numbers for the 1bd/1ba are a little skewed due to us having a dog and cat, and 2 cars in the garage. The garage is retail, so neither of us get it for free, and LAZ charges $150/month/car. In addition, the bedroom has a 3/4 wall, so there is really zero privacy between living room and bedroom.
Pricing is indicative of short north, and reality of living on high street. Gym has treadmills and bikes, and an area for working out but no meaningful weights. The upstairs common area is nice, as it has views, a grill, and a tv. Other apartments in area have a pool, which would be nice given the hot summers at this point.

The apartment is close to all of the downtown amenities. Everything is walkable and the staff is relatively quick to solve any issues. The only downside is the premium price you pay for parking (to the attached garage) and the noise from High Street. Depending on the side the apartment is on the noise is worse on the street side. It is less people noise, but more so the motorcycles and cars.
