Convenient location with great study space
I love the coffee shop on the 1st floor and have enjoyed watching the Redbirds play from the rooftop. You have to pay $100/month for a parking pass at the neighboring garage, however it seems secure considering the apartment is downtown. I have never felt unsafe walking to my truck at night. Also it is only about a mile from campus, so that helps a lot.

Great apartments - Walk to Law School
Pressbox Lofts is a small building with 50 apartments. It's in the same building as the Memphis Chess Club. It is an old building and once housed a printing company.
The apartments have high ceilings and exposed brick on the exterior walls.
The roof is great - you can watch baseball and soccer.
Propero Parking Garage is next door, available monthly for an extra $100. The garage has a door to a secure courtyard for entry to Pressbox.
The building is secure; you have a "fob" to open the exterior doors and the elevator to the upper floors. There is a separate key to open the doors from the stairwell.
It is about a 7-minute walk to the law school.
