Could be a 10!

Overall, LOVE this apartment as my first apartment! It's especially close to the highway, which makes the drive quick to the law school. Also, it's less than a mile from Brown's Island and just over a mile from Belle Isle. So, if you're into running/walking like me, this is the perfect distance from such awesome scenes! It's close to everything around downtown and you are just a few feet from really great restaurants and ice cream shops. Although parking is only guaranteed to residents only, you are also just a few feet away from cheap public parking for anyone that wants to visit and park their car overnight.

There is just one big downside to this apartment: the noise. You are right next to a popular bar, which is unfortunately open 5 out of the 7 days of the week. The most brutal day is a Sunday. It's always a loud karaoke night when you're trying to do last minute Sunday homework before the law school week begins. Despite the loud bar scene during the nights, the noise is bearable throughout the day. In fact, I barely hear the cars run through the old (but very cool) cobblestone.

If you do end up staying in one of the apartments in this complex, I recommend earplugs and a white noise machine! The noise sucks sometimes, but this is the best way to combat it! It's helped me get through the year and made this apartment worth it.

Overall, considering that all utilities are included in the flat monthly rent and the only downside is that you live next to a noisy bar, this complex is worth it!
