The Beeker

I have enjoyed my time at the Beeker, and have lived here all three years of law school. The rent is reasonable, especially considering the square footage and location. I know many people who pay more for a smaller apartment. My only issue is that there is no gym, but the rent does include gym access at a sister property.

The location is a short (15 minute) walk from the law school at Ohio State. It is also a very short walk to the many, many bars and restaurants on High St, while being far enough off of high street that you do not experience any of the noise. It is also a 5-7 minute drive to downtown.

My apartment itself is spacious and has more storage space that I feel like I will need.

I also cannot speak highly enough about the management. While they are still landlords, and therefore not always aligned with their renters, they have been immensely helpful at solving every issue that has arisen during my time.

The maintenance and the proximity to the law school is great. The floor plans are pretty spacious even for a studio. However, there is a lack of public amenities like a gym or a pool. The complex only offers a rooftop lounge.

I really like the location. 0.8 miles away from law school and super close to a bus stop as well.
The area surrounding is very quiet and feels safe which was important to me because I often need to take my dog out at night. You are also in short walking distance to many bars and restaurants.
Rent is decent for the square footage and proximity to the law school.
