Suncrest Village

On the expensive side but worth it! Quiet with great amenities.

Suncrest Village apartments and townhouses are extremely convenient to go to the hospital and medical school. Family friendly neighborhood that is gated, has a gym and pool, and is quiet and safe. Lots of medical professionals and students live here. The neighborhood is also right across from Kroger and the Suncrest Towne Centre. Would recommend touring here, there are many styles and sizes of condos/apartments while most townhouses look relatively similar. Properties are individually owned, so there is varying pet policies and rent pricing. I have lived in a townhouse with two other medical students for three years and we have a spacious affordable living situation.

Safe and great community

Suncrest Village offers a great option for medical students looking for a complex that is nearby to the school (5 minute drive) and in a complex with working professionals. Most medical students stay in the condos here, which are spacious. The neighborhood is gated and very quiet. It is on the pricier side in morgantown, but well worth it as a professional student.

Great location, close to HSC and the hospital. Very reasonable rent for the square footage of our townhome and the amenities in the community (pool, mail room, gated). Pet accommodations are landlord-dependent.

The neighborhood is very secure. It’s a gated community with a security guard 24/7. I feel safe walking/running in the neighborhood when it’s still dark out. The community pool is nice. The gym is good for cardio but that’s about it. There are very few free weights and no rack. They have one pulley machine that you can do a variation of most things on. The clubhouse is nice. The mail situation is pretty annoying. Mail is either delivered to your mail locker, the clubhouse front desk, or your door (in a townhome). You never know where it’s going to be delivered. You can only get it from the desk 9am-5pm Mon-Fri and 12-2pm on Saturday. Townhomes are affordable with roommates and definitely for comfortable than the apartments.

The townhouse it's self is nice. But the property manager sucks. I have a super nice space but it takes forever for any repairs to get done. I wouldn't recommend the property

This is a fantastic place to live. Quiet community that is spacious with a luxury pool and mediocre gym on property.

- Excellent security (the entire complex is its own area off the highway)

- 5-10 min drive from WVU School of Medicine
- Suncrest Town Center adjacent

- Walkability is poor because there are no sidewalks connecting the highway or town center
