The Flats at Cornerstone

The apartment unit itself is gorgeous and a great living space! The building often gets messy in shared areas, nothing too serious, but it can take a while for management to clean. The management company, however, is fine most of the time until you start the moving out process. They made us pay an extra month’s rent for “not letting them know we were moving out in a timely manner.” We gave them a month’s notice, which is standard and in the contract. But other than that, my husband and I loved living here! The area of town is great, lots of restaurants right across the street, great parks and walking trails, and the unit itself was amazing!

Good for what it is. They charge you $15 for every transaction (yes, even paying your $8 electricity bill). Property management does not reply to texts or emails. Call them.
It would be cheaper to rent a house but that comes with other challenges.

I wouldn’t stay here

The townhouse is spacious. Cornerstone in general is a great living community. Great place to take walks and is close to restaurants.

I have enjoyed living here. Friendly neighbors. Priority one is responsive to maintenance requests.

On a trail system, beautiful homes, mix of students (undergrad & grad/med) as well as families, new neighborhood

119 Cornerstone Street has great views of the neighborhood depending on the side of the apartment you live in. The apartments are spacious and modern. It is uncommon to hear neighbors, however I live on the top floor so I cannot say whether or not it is possible to hear upstairs neighbors. The complex is within walking distance of four restaurants, a coffee house, and a convenience store. Traffic in the area is rarely an issue, and Walmart, Target, and Kroger are all within an 8 minute drive. Two main problems with the apartment: (1) Rent skyrocketed after the first year with a $225 per month increase. Rent does not include any utilities outside of garbage disposal. The price, in my opinion, does not reflect the true value of the apartment. (2) The parking is shared with nearby restaurants. Because of this, parking on weekends and during dinner hours can be sparse.
