The most mid place
I have a fairly clean unit compared to my peers; however, it's still not a pleasing place to live. The sink gets clogged easily, there's no sunlight, and the lighting doesn't do much to make the place brighter. In the summer, it can feel freezing, while in the winter it's so hot. There's a thermostat, but it doesn't work at all, so you're stuck with either completely shutting off the AC/Heat or putting up with the extreme temperature. The walls are so thin you can hear the person above you walking and opening cabinets, talking, etc. It's so annoying, especially when the noise disturbs your sleep and the occupant doesn't care about how much noise they make at night. The rent is also pretty high for what it's worth, but there's no better option in the area. The only plus of living here is the proximity to school.

The location is amazing - extremely close to the law school. While the building is old, I have not had any issues (beyond some building wide heat/cooling issues that were resolved quickly) and it was generally very clean upon move in. Having your own kitchen and bathroom for the price is very nice, and it is generally more space than I would’ve anticipated.
