Extra Large Apartment in Historic Home

My apartment is HUGE! It is easily 1500 square feet, if not larger. We only have one bathroom, but we have a second "scary bathroom" in the basement that only we can access. We have a giant backyard with a grill, a private parking lot, and a balcony. This is an old Clifton mansion that has been converted into four apartments; only seven people live in the entire building. The washer and dryer in the basement are a bit outdated, but they offer coin laundry, and it costs only $1.25 per load. We have huge windows, which have been great for natural light and plants, but unfortunately, this means that our utilities are much larger than average. We have central AC and heat, which is rare in old buildings, but because the home is so old and poorly insulated, the cost can quickly become expensive. You certainly pay the price for living in such a beautiful space. Although the property manager is really friendly and responsive, he has a hard time ensuring that maintenance and the landlord actually address the issues that come up. This issue is not specific to this apartment, but rather a problem affecting City Center Properties as a whole. We are only a 13-minute walk to school, we are a 2-minute walk to the UC shuttle and Cincinnati Metro Bus stop, a 5-minute walk to the Ludlow business district. Close enough to everything without being right on the busy street. Our street is overall very quiet, with a few other rentals, but mostly large properties owned by families and older individuals.
