Upgraded, modern, large space

My partner and I have lived here for 1.5 years now and have throughly enjoyed it. Before moving to Manhattan we looked at several other apartment complexes throughout town and finally settled on this apartment complex. Connie, the complex manager is pleasant to talk to albeit sometimes hard to get in touch with. Maintenance is not the fastest, usually taking 24-72 hours to fix a problem. However, the maintenance men have always been nice and fixed any problems we did have with the apartment.

As for actually living here, we love it. Since we are not living in town it is very quite with most of the residents in this complex being military or working professionals. Apartments are large, roughly 1200sqft for our 2bed/2bath, with a large well equipped kitchen. Plenty of storage space in the kitchen in the form of cabinet space and a dedicated pantry. Large laundry room that can also be used for additional storage, as well as a dedicated linen closet in the hallway. One bedroom has a large walk in closet with built in shelves, while the other bedroom has a smaller closet. Both bedrooms are large, roughly 12ft x 14ft, and can easily fit a king size mattress, dresser, and book shelf with room to spare. Both bathrooms are the same size, and are a little on the small size. If I had any complaints about this place it would be the small bathroom.

Overall, we enjoy living at this complex. Location wise is great with plenty of walking and biking trails. The neighborhood is nice and quite given that it is a golf community on the west side of town. We are a decent ways from the hustle and bustle of the east side of town, but it is easy to given the neighborhood is directly off of Kimball Ave. I would recommend this complex to my friends.

It always seemed hard to find a nice clean place to live in Manhattan that wasn’t a house divided up into apartments. Grand Champions out by the golf course offers 1, 2, and 4 bedroom options in a neighborhood that is very clean, nice, private, and quiet. Yes you have to drive about 20 minutes to get to campus, but the added bonus of feeling like you live somewhere nice, instead of a rental near campus, made living there so worth it.
