Solid choice for SLU SOM students prioritizing cost and location
Pros:
-10 minute walk to hospital, 15 minute walk to school campus.
-Great price: 2 bed 2 bath for approx $1160. Parking for $50/month per spot. Parking is gated.
-Management is generally responsive. Have needed to call maintenance a few times for AC/sink repairs, and they sent someone out within a day or so.
-Several SLU SOM students stay here.
-Apartments are spacious.
-In unit washer, dryer,
Cons:
-Isolated location (no walkable stores or restaurants).
-Safety is questionable. On occasion we have heard gunshots outside. This happens maybe once every few months, and is likely not nearby, but still a factor. I've walked my dog outside without feeling unsafe.
-They say no pets (although several units have dogs/cats)
-Does not include internet or electric.
-Can hear helicopters landing at the hospital at night.
Overall, I'm very happy with this apartment. It's for those who prioritize proximity to campus, value, and cost. It's not for people who prioritize walkable stores and would be uncomfortable hearing gunshots outside every few months.
