Overall Would Recommend

Have lived here for 3 years and had a good experience so far. In the past, I have lived in apartments with rude/unresponsive management and my experience with management has been good at Shepard School Lofts. The building is right off of Cherokee Street/Antique Row so there are cute shops and bars within walking distance. A personal favorite is Saturn Lounge. This property used to be a school that has been converted into lofts. The former classrooms that were turned into units have good noise-control because the walls are mainly cinder block. There are 6 units in the back of the building (the former gym) that were new construction and have thin walls. I live in one of these units and have had issues with noise in the past, so I would prioritize getting a unit in the main school building.
