Review on Olde Redmond

Subleased at Olde Redmond Place for 6 months. While there I loved how big the master bedroom was. Enough for a king sized bed which I have. The kitchen should have been upgraded. No one likes white appliances Awesome fireplace and storage! wish it was more open rather than having hallways.

Convenient location but expensive

The location is good. It is close to the town center and close to the work place. You can get access to grocery stores and good restaurants within walking distance. The management is professional. But the building and interior is quite old and the rental is pretty expensive.

Getting around Redmond

Redmond Reviews

There has not been a big focus on the part of the city to develop its economy like other cities are doing. Their policies state that they seek to develop a vibrant downtown. Vibrant it is not. It's pretty dead, and there are no good restaurant choices. I can't wait to leave.
There is good public transportation into Downtown Seattle. It isn't super busy which I appreciate. Things are a little bit spaced out, but still everything that I use is within a half mile. My commute is less than 30 minutes by bus or 20 minutes by car, and my wife can walk 5 minutes to her work.
Closer to Microsoft campus.
Lot of Indians and as well as access to Indian groceries shops and restaurants.
Place is closer to both RTC(Redmond town center and Bellevue square mall)
Lots of great food options, bars, shops, grocery stores. Safe. Lively.
The centrally located transit center (bus lines to Bellevue and Seattle), spacious mall, and walkable shopping options (Trader Joes, QFC & Target) make Redmond an ideal neighborhood for singles and families alike. School are great, night life (local bars) are okay, and fine and family dining are all nearby. Welcome home!
Pros: Close to stores, close to park and main highway. Great staff, free parking, walking distance to local gym and grocery. Close to schools.

Cons: Tiny gym, parking garage door not working.
Neighborhood is close to work and public transit with good quality parks and walking trails. There is no grocery store or retail shop at walking distance.
